Helleborus Spring Sparkle Red P15

Helleborus Spring Sparkle Red P15

Helleborus Spring Sparkle Red is a shade-loving Lenten rose selection valued for rich red, long-lasting winter–spring flowers above clumps of leathery, palmately divided foliage. Ideal for brightening woodland borders and for underplanting deciduous shrubs and trees, it thrives in partial to full shade and in moist but well-drained, moderately fertile soil. Fully hardy and reliable for Irish gardens, it forms neat, enduring clumps; remove the oldest leaves in late winter to better display the blooms and help reduce leaf-spot. Flowers provide welcome early-season interest and are visited by bees in mild spells.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
