Buddleja Butterfly Candy Little Purple

Buddleja Butterfly Candy Little Purple

Buddleja Butterfly Candy ‘Little Purple’ is a compact, deciduous butterfly bush bearing dense, conical clusters of purple flowers from midsummer into early autumn, highly attractive to butterflies and other pollinators. Grow in full sun and fertile, well‑drained soil (it copes with light sandy or chalky conditions) and avoid waterlogging. Fully hardy in Ireland. For the best display, prune hard in late winter to early spring to a low framework, and deadhead spent panicles to encourage continued flowering.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
