Viburnum Eskimo

Viburnum Eskimo

Viburnum 'Eskimo' is a compact evergreen viburnum valued for its tight, rounded heads of richly fragrant, white spring flowers, often opening from flushed or pink-tinged buds in April and May. The leathery, dark green foliage forms a neat, bushy mound, making it a reliable choice for borders, small gardens and planting near paths or doorways where the scent can be appreciated. It grows best in full sun or light shade, in moist but well-drained, moderately fertile soil, and generally needs only light pruning after flowering to maintain shape. Expect a steady, moderate growth, forming a dense shrub around 1.5–2m over time.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
