Laurus nobilis P30190 CM PYR

Laurus nobilis P30190 CM PYR

Laurus nobilis, the classic bay laurel, is an evergreen shrub or small tree valued for its aromatic, glossy green foliage used fresh or dried in the kitchen. Naturally slow-growing and easily clipped, it’s ideal for structural planting, containers, and formal topiary shapes. Small pale yellow flowers typically appear in spring, with black berries forming on female plants if pollinated. Grow in full sun or light shade in fertile, well-drained soil; bay is best in a sheltered spot and is hardy in milder areas, with protection advisable in colder regions or during severe frosts.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
