ARABIS bleph. Barranca Deep Rose

ARABIS bleph. Barranca Deep Rose

Arabis blepharophylla ‘Barranca Deep Rose’ is a low, mat-forming evergreen perennial valued for its vivid deep rose-pink spring flowers above neat rosettes of green foliage. Ideal for rock gardens, wall crevices and the front of sunny borders in Ireland, it thrives in full sun to light shade on well-drained, light or chalky, moderately fertile soils. Flowering in early to mid spring, it makes a bright, early-season carpet; lightly trim after flowering to keep growth compact. Expect around 10–15cm in height and 30–45cm spread in time.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
